about

All the 15 original tracks are completely remastered and retweaked/mixed. The dynamics are altered fully and other elements that were closed before are now open. I believe both versions, the original and the edit, have their own strengths.
The carrier in 2006, you can feel as an insidious decay of the rational whereas in this new edit there is still contrast, yet the majority is pure unadulterated seizure from start to finish.
This by no means lessens our love for the edit, all in all, i find it to be a perfect evolution, a new phase of the bion sound emulating our progress in Lyra reconnaissance sessions.

These two are perfect next to each other as brothers.

There are also 8 ambient versions of these original tracks which are called interludes this time. They seem to have this purpose in the context of this album. And there is 1 new exclusive track there, which was made around the time but wasn't selected in the end. The track is called Tect and finalizes the evolution of Bion Glent to this form.

about

Roel Funcken Amsterdam, Netherlands

His ambient textures maintain a cinematic quality throughout, while his percussive arrangements retain a constantly mutating framework, always reconstructing its rhythm and structure, contradicting complex configurations and minimal design. It's always a pleasure to taste the latest treat from this aural engineer, and find the latest gem in his never-ending arsenal of sound. ... more
